Conference
Archived participation guidance for the residential conference held in July 2025.
01Will I receive a certificate of participation?
Yes. Everyone who attended the conference was eligible to receive a certificate of participation.
02What was the registration deadline?
The registration deadline was 10 July 2025. Applications were screened because seats were limited, and overseas participants were encouraged to apply early for visa and travel planning.
03What support did BRAC provide?
Participation packages offered different levels of logistical support. Registered participants could also request an official BRAC invitation letter for a visa application.
04Did BRAC assist with visa applications?
BRAC did not intervene in visa processing, but an official invitation letter could be provided on request to support an application.
05Which documents were recommended for a visa application?
The recommended documents were a BRAC invitation letter, passport photocopy, return flight ticket, hotel confirmation, proof of funds and the applicable visa fee.

07Was the registration fee refundable?
No. The 2025 registration fee was non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
08Could registration be transferred?
Yes. A participant could transfer a registration to another person by notifying the team in advance.
09Could the fee be paid on-site?
No. Participation fees had to be paid in advance so registration and event planning could be confirmed.
10What arrival time was recommended?
Forum-only participants were advised to arrive by the afternoon of 24 July 2025. Confirmed participants received the detailed agenda and accommodation information.
11Was medical support available?
Basic medical support, including an on-call doctor and emergency transportation, was available during the conference.
Field visit
Practical information for the climate-frontline field visit that preceded the forum.
01What was included in the field-visit fee?
Support varied by participation package. Registered participants could also receive a BRAC invitation letter for visa purposes.
02When were field-visit participants asked to arrive?
Participants were advised to reach Dhaka by 22 July 2025 so they could depart on time and join the complete programme.
03Was medical support available during the visit?
Yes. Basic medical support was available throughout the field visit.
04Did participants receive security guidance?
Yes. BRAC provided local security guidance before arrival.
05Was the field visit accessible to people with disabilities?
Yes. Participants were asked to share specific accessibility requirements in advance so suitable arrangements could be made.
Exhibition
Guidance for organisations and innovators who exhibited climate-adaptive solutions.
01What were the benefits of exhibiting?
Exhibitors could gain national and international visibility, meet donors and policymakers, identify collaboration opportunities and join cross-sector peer learning.
02What did a standard booth include?
A standard booth included electricity, internet access and the basic booth structure. Custom materials, printing and staffing were not included.
03Was booth-setup support available?
Limited assistance was available, but each exhibiting team remained responsible for its display and setup.
04Could exhibitors request additional equipment?
Specific requirements could be noted in the application. BRAC did not provide custom materials, printing or booth staff.
05Which display materials were recommended?
Eco-friendly, recyclable and climate-conscious materials were encouraged throughout the exhibition.
06Could booths use videos or digital displays?
Yes. Exhibitors could use tablets, videos and other multimedia, provided devices were self-sufficient or power needs were communicated in advance.
07Were there content restrictions?
Displays had to be respectful, non-political, consistent with BRAC values and relevant to the forum theme.
08Which exhibition formats were preferred?
Interactive, experiential and accessible formats were encouraged to make the exhibition useful for a diverse audience.
09Could non-exhibiting colleagues visit?
Yes, provided they were registered as forum participants and had venue access.
10Could registered exhibitors attend forum sessions?
Yes, subject to crowd management and provided their booths remained adequately staffed.
